Our take
The XDJ-AERO is a neat concept—wireless streaming without a laptop is freeing. The 32 pads are responsive, and having two mic inputs is handy. But the 16-bit audio feels dated; I hear a difference compared to 24-bit gear. The 30-day warranty from the seller is also concerning. At $689, it's cheaper than the XDJ-RR, but you're sacrificing audio quality. If you need wireless and pads, it's okay, but I'd save up for the XDJ-RR for better sound.
