Our take
I got this used Pioneer DDJ-WEGO4-K to learn the basics of DJing. It's compact and USB powered, so I just plug it into my laptop. The 8 pads and sampler are fun for adding effects. However, there are no line or phono inputs, so you can only use software tracks. The 16-bit audio is fine for practice but not pro-grade. For $220 used, it's a fair starting point if you want a simple, portable controller. Just know you'll be entirely dependent on your computer for sound sources.
