Found this XDJ-RR for under $900 and it's a steal. The 8 pads are useful for hot cues and loops, and the single mic input works for basic announcements. The tabletop design is compact for mobile setups. Sound quality is typical Pioneer – clean and reliable. However, the 1U height means it's shallow but still heavy. The lack of dedicated FX controls is a bummer. If you don't need fancy effects, this is a great standalone unit for rekordbox. Just remember you only get 2 channels and no built-in sampler.
