Our take
This holiday cookbook is a treasure for festive cooking. The step-by-step format is great for beginners, and the 140 recipes cover a wide range of celebrations. The illustrations are, as usual, excellent. My main gripe is that some recipes are very elaborate, requiring multiple steps and specialty equipment. Also, the book is quite large, which can be cumbersome when you're already juggling holiday tasks.
