About this product
A first edition 2009 hardcover from HarperCollins, 247 pages. Covers individual chefs, quick & easy methods, Southwestern cuisine, and rural sociology. Illustrated with dust jacket.
Our take
This is the original Pioneer Woman cookbook, and it has a special charm. The recipes are the foundation of her style—simple, hearty, and full of flavor. Being a first edition, it's a nice find. However, with only 247 pages, it's slimmer than her later works. The binding is durable, but the pages are thinner. If you're a completionist, this is essential. For everyday use, the newer books offer more variety.
